Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a high-volume, level I trauma center setting. This position involves providing critical care and fast-paced emergency services, with an orientation date scheduled for 10/5. The ER nurse will be responsible for delivering urgent and emergent patient care, adhering to hospital protocols, and working during evening shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, prior travel experience in a large level I trauma environment; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR); valid Florida license or compact license on file at the time of submission; AVADE training or willingness to complete it, to avoid non-billable class time payments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior trauma nursing experience, large hospital setting experience, experience with Cerner EMR is highly desirable.
  • Additional Information: Orientation scheduled for 10/5 only, no local candidates accepted. Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and prior travel experience in a large level I trauma setting. Manager will conduct interviews and extend offers.
