Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
• Assist in emergency medical procedures and assessments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health concerns and treatment plans.

Work Schedule

This position requires:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM).
• 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days within a 6-week period.
• Holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
• Previous experience in a Charge Nurse role and Level 2 Trauma experience is preferred.
