Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, including:

2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days within a 6-week period
Holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Provide immediate and high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC.
Maintain a safe and effective environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certifications are preferred.
Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
Preference for candidates with previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience.
