Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Multiple Satellite Locations, Phoenix Area. This role involves providing critical emergency care across various satellite ERs, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. The position requires flexibility to float between locations, ensuring prompt and efficient care delivery in fast-paced environments.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BLS, ACLS Certifications; Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required; license to submit; valid license in the state of practice; Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with a maximum of two attempts; successful completion of a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 (including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes as applicable); Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is preferred but not required.
- Additional Job Requirements: Ability to float between multiple ER satellite locations including Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise. Orientation will be floor-specific; all nurses are expected to maintain sterile fields and demonstrate competency in sterile procedures during skills assessments.
- Operational Details: No IV team; charting system is Cerner; hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment; first to float; vent-capable; lab draws performed by ER staff; no weekend requirement but every other weekend coverage may be needed; holidays as needed; scrub color: Galaxy Blue.
