Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' clinical conditions across all age groups, prioritize care needs, and take immediate appropriate action in emergency situations.
  • Initiate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available and administer prescribed therapeutic interventions including medications, IV therapy, and respiratory support.
  • Operate and monitor specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
  • Document patient observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordinated care activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Plan, develop, and implement individualized patient care plans while coordinating assignments among team members based on staff skills and patient care requirements.
  • Contribute to maintaining adequate unit supplies, equipment upkeep, and a safe patient care environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact RN license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements including background check and drug screen.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience managing patients with trauma, hemodynamic instability, or mechanical ventilation.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume emergency setting.
