Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour hours, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license, one year of healthcare experience, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required when census warrants.
  • Additional Information: This role involves managing general emergency department responsibilities for combined adult and pediatric patient populations. Candidate must have experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, administering emergency medications, managing multisystem organ failure, and performing procedures such as IV starts, blood product administration, and central line care. Prior experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting is preferred but not required. The position begins on 09/20/2026, with a 16-hour orientation.
