Emergency Room Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

This position requires a 3x12-hour day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30. Floating to either within the hospital or to nearby hospitals may be necessary based on patient needs. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, although this may vary depending on operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

Active South Carolina nursing license or multistate license
Current certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI/MAB (Crisis Prevention Intervention/Management of Assaultive Behavior)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience will be reviewed for first-time travelers

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Role Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the emergency department. This includes performing assessments, implementing care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients in emergency situations.
