Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing acute care services in a fast-paced emergency department environment, ensuring patient safety and efficient flow of care. The assignment offers a dynamic clinical experience with opportunities to develop specialized skills in emergency nursing.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/21/2026
  • End Date: 12/21/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course); TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); at least 2 years of ER experience; strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification; Meditech electronic health record experience
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be proficient in documentation systems such as Meditech. Responsibilities include participating in procedures like intubations, conscious sedation, behavioral health monitoring, sepsis management, stroke care including Tpa administration, chest pain management, and adherence to dress and grooming policies.
