Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting and demonstrate proficiency in both adult and pediatric care.

Schedule

  • Orientation every Monday
  • Shifts available: 3x12-hour shifts, including mids and evenings
  • Weekend coverage required: Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule on Friday and Saturday nights)

Patient Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-6.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Must have completed at least 1 travel nursing assignment
  • Experience in a general emergency department (combined adult/pediatrics) is essential
  • Proficiency in CERNER is required

Certifications

The following certifications are required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Information

Scrubs are not provided; royal blue scrubs are required.
