Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rockville, Connecticut. This role involves providing critical care in the emergency department for adult and pediatric patients. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency services, supporting procedural sedation, stroke and sepsis care, and utilizing appropriate equipment and protocols.

Job Details:

  • Position: RN - Emergency Room (ER)
  • Location: Rockville, Connecticut
  • Shift: Evening shift, 12-hour shifts, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Valid Connecticut license or compact license
    • At least 2 years of ER experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
    • EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience
    • Experience working with adult and pediatric emergency room patients
    • Ability to perform IV insertions, cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation support, and provide emergency stabilization
    • Competency with stroke and sepsis care protocols
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or NCI certification
    • Experience with Alaris pumps and standard emergency department equipment
  • Additional Information:
    • Previous travel experience is preferred but not required.
    • Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday.
    • No float rotation required.
