The position requires flexibility to float between units, with a focus on acute patient management and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Position Description: ER RN responsible for delivering urgent care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a short-term acute care setting. The role involves working night shifts, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, and availability for 6 weekend shifts every six weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC; valid State License (compact license preferred); 2 years of ER experience; experience with emergency charting systems, preferably Epic; and clinical skills including care of ventilated patients, central line management, stroke care, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and triage.
  • Additional Information: Must have 2 years of ER experience with strong clinical skills in stroke, trauma, STEMI, chest pain, and other critical diagnoses. Candidates should be prepared to work holidays as specified, and references covering the last 3 years are required.
