Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement patient care in the emergency department.
Monitor and manage patients with varying levels of acuity, including both adult and pediatric cases.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Perform EKGs and interpret results, ensuring timely identification of critical conditions.
Adhere to established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required.
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is a must.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
Must successfully complete the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms.
Previous travel nursing experience is required.

Work Schedule

The RN will work on a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:00. This position requires a commitment to working every other weekend and every other holiday.
