The ER (Emergency Room) is seeking qualified healthcare professionals for a position in a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. This role involves providing acute emergency care to a diverse patient population, managing common diagnoses such as chest pain, injury, and respiratory issues, and working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Location: ER Department, shifts are days, with scheduled hours of 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NIHSS certifications; minimum of two years experience in emergency care; current licensure to practice.
- Schedule: Days shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information:
- Experience with common drips including cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesia.
- Duties include performing ABGs, breathing treatments, and EKGs; RT (Respiratory Therapist) services are available 24/7.
- Self-scheduling and block scheduling are permitted.
- Full and part-time staff are expected to work at least six weekend shifts per six-week cycle, with a requirement to meet holiday staffing needs.
- Minimal travel within a 60-mile radius; candidates must be in state during the week of orientation.
- Shift possibly requiring floating within zone as per department needs.
- Charting system utilized is EPIC.
- No BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) requirement specified.
- Updated licensure must be submitted.
- The position begins on 10/26/2026 and extends through 01/25/2027.
