Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Nights - Location: Georgia. This position involves providing urgent care in a fast-paced ER environment at a Level STEMI Receiving Stroke Center. The nurse will manage a high acuity patient population, utilizing strong clinical skills and proficiency in electronic medical records to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: The ER unit is a 24-bed facility with behavioral health rooms and critical care rooms, dedicated to managing diverse urgent medical needs. It features a separate Triage area and a vertical flow Fast Track. The department handles approximately 70-80 patients daily, with a requirement to function effectively with minimal resources in a high-volume setting.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications; current licensure; ability to work nights; 2 years of ER experience; proficiency in EPIC; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours each, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position demands self-sufficient nurses comfortable with high acuity patients, capable of independent decision-making, and experienced in smaller, fast-paced facilities. Providers should be adept with EPIC and capable of managing high patient volumes efficiently.
