Registered Nurse – ER

Location: Adrian, MI 49221
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of ER nursing experience
  • MI RN license in hand – required
  • Combined Adult/Pediatric ED experience
  • Epic experience – required
  • Patient ratio experience: 1:4
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required
  • 1st-time travelers accepted
  • Experience with triage, dysrhythmia management, IV starts, phlebotomy, blood products, central lines, procedural sedation, IV vasopressors, and ventilated patients
  • Experience with CVA, neuro/trauma, TBI, ortho-trauma, head injuries, CPAP/BiPAP, ABGs, and emergency response
  • Every other weekend required
  • Float within the service line/scope of practice as needed

Description:
Seeking an experienced ER RN for a 27-bed rural Emergency Department and Primary Stroke Center. The ED sees a broad patient population from neonates through geriatrics, with common presentations including chest pain, respiratory emergencies, sepsis, stroke, cardiac arrest, trauma, OB/GYN emergencies, and mental health evaluations. Staffing is approximately 1:4–5, with an average daily census of 76.
