Job Details

  • Position Description: RN - ER at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. The department is a 28-bed Emergency Department with an on-site Cath Lab. It is a Primary Stroke Center utilizing Teladoc virtual neurology services for stroke care. This role involves managing emergency cases, including walk-in trauma and pediatric transfers, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5 patients per nurse.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications; proficiency in EPIC charting; experience with B. Braun IV pumps, point-of-care lactic and glucometer devices, EKG machines, Philips monitors, bedside bladder scanners, Ceribell rapid EEG device.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: No call or floating duties; every third weekend work; every other holiday; unit handles approximately 38,000 patients annually; upcoming onboarding review of specific equipment expected.
