  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Duration: 13 weeks, starting 10/11/2026 and ending 01/10/2027
  • Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS, AHA only), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Virginia State License or Compact
  • Experience Requirements: Must have 2+ years of ER experience plus Epic electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency
  • Preferred Experience: 13+ years of ER experience (16 weeks preferred)
  • Schedule: Nights; includes every other weekend and holiday
  • On-Call: One 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
  • Additional Position Details:
    • No float rotation required
    • Must be able to work in a Navy scrubs dress code
    • Be available for three days of preapproved time off, excluding holidays
    • Block scheduling is approved, with no specific days blocked
    • The role involves caring for a high-acuity patient population within a facility that has 495 beds
