Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in emergency situations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions closely.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

A minimum of 12 months of recent, permanent experience in an emergency room setting.
Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
Current certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are mandatory.
A reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty area is required for submission.

Shift Information

This position involves working a mid-shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 15:00 to 03:30.
