• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Patient Volume: Approximately 115-150 visits per day
• Orientation: 12-28 hours
• Location: Brooklyn, MD 21225 — a convenient South Baltimore location with access to city amenities, waterfront areas, and a strong local community feel.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Minimum of 1 previous travel nursing assignment required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with IV starts and phlebotomy required
• Comfort working in a busy emergency department with urgent and emergent patient needs
• Ability to work weekend and holiday rotation as needed
• Willingness to complete required facility and unit-specific onboarding modules
• Cerner experience preferred
• Charge nurse, triage, CPI, MAB, and TNCC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and core ER nursing interventions
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support triage, medication administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage a 1:4 assignment in a high-volume Emergency Department
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities after unit training, when appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit workflow standards
• Deliver excellent patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment
