Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to geriatric patients, in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver quality patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize electronic medical record systems and medication management tools for patient documentation and medication administration.
Adhere to safety protocols and effective communication practices.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting. First-time travelers not accepted.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Competency with Epic and Pyxis systems preferred.

Work Environment

General Emergency Room setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
46 rooms with an average daily census of 135 patients.

Additional Information

Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Maximum requested time off (RTO): 7 days.
Weekend shifts: Required every other weekend unless otherwise specified.
Floating may be necessary to nearby locations.
No call requirements are expected for this position.
Holidays: Work is expected on major holidays based on assignment period.

Full compliance with all requirements is necessary to ensure timely onboarding. Delays in compliance may result in a pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
