Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in a fast-paced emergency department. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting, supporting unit operations, and adhering to emergency care protocols. Job Details:

• Location: The healthcare provider operates in a general emergency department with 38 beds, including trauma bays, a burn room, psych room, and a vertical treatment area.
• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas registered nursing licensure or compact license eligibility. Certifications must include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Candidates without these skills will not be considered but will be supported with a 30-day grace period to obtain certain certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience or skills in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a multi-disciplinary team with variable patient ratios based on acuity and census. Candidate personality traits should include adaptability, a positive attitude, patience, and a flexible approach to work. The unit maintains standard emergency/trauma equipment, with clinical policies detailed in attached guidelines. Self-scheduling is available, and the position includes weekend and on-call shifts (averaging four weekends per month).
