Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Dallas, TX. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour work hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room experience, 2+ years of specialty experience, NIH (National Institutes of Health) required, Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Meditech electronic documentation system is preferred.
- Special Skills/Experience: Candidates must have at least 2 years of ER experience, including trauma and pediatric care.
- Unit Specifics: The healthcare provider utilizes Meditech for documentation. The facility follows a floating policy where staff may be needed to work on different units as required.
- Dress Code & Policies: RN staff are expected to wear royal blue scrubs. Personal hygiene standards include no artificial nails and keeping hair clean, neat, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Visible piercings are discouraged, and tattoos should be covered whenever possible. The unit enforces a body art and grooming policy consistent with hospital standards. Attendance policies are strictly followed as per the organizations guidelines.
