Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An experienced Registered Nurse is needed to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care, demonstrating the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care in a dynamic emergency department setting.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient status and provide documentation of care delivered.
  • Participate in training and educational development programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in an emergency room setting is required.
  • Current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of application.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are mandatory.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.

Shift Details

  • Day/Mid Shift: 7a-7p and 10a-10p (rotating schedule).
  • 12-hour shifts, with three shifts per week.
