Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Independence, MO. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a busy Emergency Department with a capacity of over 40 beds and a staff of more than 120 professionals. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to clinical standards, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provide patient assessment, stabilization, and treatment in an emergency setting, utilizing cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, Lifepak, and other medical equipment.
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI certifications; valid licensure as an RN; minimum 1 year of ER experience; located within commuting distance to Independence, MO; 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, and possess previous medical experience (RN, Medic, Technician, etc.). The ideal candidate is outgoing and positive under pressure. Dress code requires gray scrub top and black or gray scrub bottoms for RNs, with similar guidelines for medical staff and other roles.
