Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Professional needed in Independence, MO. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a busy, high-volume ER setting, supporting a team of over 120 staff members. The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Position Description: Emergency Room (ER) staff responsible for delivering urgent medical treatment in a 40-bed Emergency Department equipped with cardiac monitors, EKGs, US, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, Lifepak, and other advanced medical equipment.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI certifications for RN; BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications for Medic; BLS and CPI certifications for all staff. Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an ER setting.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, be team players, and ideally have previous medical experience such as RN, Medic, or Technician. The role requires skills in IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation. Dress code includes scrub uniforms: Gray scrubs for RNs and Medics, Caribbean blue or black scrubs for EDT/Secretaries.
