Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Night Shift - Location: unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a cardio-focused hospital with an elderly patient population. Job Details

  • Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, PALS, TNCC or TNS, Epic electronic health record experience, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, ability to submit a passing EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic EHR system, previous experience in a Level II Cardiac hospital caring for elderly and pediatric patients
  • Additional Information: The unit primarily handles a high volume of approximately 3,000 patients per month, emphasizing cardiac care aspects. Candidate should be comfortable working with an elderly population and pediatric patients as needed. Floating and on-call shifts are not required.
