Emergency Room Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty, located at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care, utilizing critical thinking and scientific judgment to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role requires a dynamic nurse capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment within the emergency department.

Job Details

  • Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), Arizona state nursing license.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
  • Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience (additional $3/hour), willing to float as needed, experience with Cerner electronic medical record system preferred.
  • Responsibilities: Provide patient care in a 38-bed emergency department, demonstrate leadership and critical thinking, ensure compliance with hospital policies and the state Nurse Practice Act, and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Additional Details: Will consider candidates who can start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance.
