Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Plano, Texas
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570–$1,650
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks, ending January 31, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Rotating
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Emergency Department RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Texas
• At least 2 years of current Emergency Department or emergency nursing experience
• Recent experience in a Level I, II, or III Trauma Center
• Current TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• CPI certification completed within 30 days of start; on-site completion is required
• Must meet applicable travel nursing eligibility requirements, including residing at least 100 miles from the worksite
• Active driver’s license required in the onboarding documentation

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform ordered treatments
• Recognize changes in patient status and respond promptly to urgent and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate timely care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support safe patient transitions or discharges
• Follow emergency, trauma, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols
