Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency

Job Overview

An opportunity exists for a skilled Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Emergency Department team. The role involves providing critical care and support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Shift Information

• Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
• Orientation Dates: 12/14, 12/28
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holidays and weekends required
• 50-Mile Radius Rule - No local candidates
• Must float between multiple locations within the region

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as an RN with prior travel experience
• Current BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• ED experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center preferred
• Florida RN license or compact license required

Testing and Compliance

All new RN starts will be required to pass a basic skills test in their specialty and an EKG test, which includes mapping and interpreting lethal rhythms. Nurses must be proficient in identifying critical rhythms. Extended remedial training may be necessary for those who do not pass these tests.

• Mandatory compliance with influenza vaccination prior to starting. Exemptions only for documented reactions.
• No visible piercings and no permeable shoes permitted.
