Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Snellville, Georgia.
Job Summary (List Format):
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience; first-timers not accepted
- Patient Population: Care for all ages, from infants to geriatrics
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Work Setting: General Emergency Room (ER)
- Patient Ratio/Census: 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; 46 rooms; average daily census of 135
- Unit Systems Used: Epic (EMR), Pyxis (medication), SBAR (communication)
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs
- Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 7 days allowed
- Weekend Requirement: Work every other weekend, unless otherwise specified
- Floating: Possible floating to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)
- On-Call: No call requirements
- Holiday Requirement:
- If 1 major holiday during assignment, must work it
- If 2 major holidays, must work both
- If 3 major holidays, must work 2
- Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
- Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; otherwise, start may be delayed by 2 weeks due to orientation schedule
- Orientation Hours: Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hrs for 8 weeks, 19 hrs for 19 weeks)
- Locals: Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Offer Process: Manager has 48 hours post-confirmation to review fit; offer contingent upon clinical and facility requirements
