Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or equivalent competency
• Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans
• Monitor patients closely for changes in condition and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support timely care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Maintain a calm, organized approach in a fast-moving clinical environment
