Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) RN Location: Texas. This role involves providing critical care in a hospital emergency department, handling a wide range of urgent medical situations. The position requires a highly skilled nurse capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: Current RN license valid to work in the State of Texas; ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) certifications required; ultrasound IV preferred.
- Education Requirements: RN license.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Years of Experience: 0 years minimum, with preferred 3+ years of ER experience.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include providing emergency care, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to hospital protocols.
- EMR: Medhost.
- Scrubs: Any solid color.
- Patient Ratio: 4:1 unless fast track or triage is in effect.
- Number of Beds: 24 plus 4 hall beds.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must include a permanent home address; travelers must be over 50 miles from the facility.
- No call, no floating, no block scheduling; maximum RTO of 3 shifts.
- Blackout dates: Weekend after Thanksgiving, week of Christmas, and New Years.
