- Beds: 17 exam rooms and 4 bed obs unit
Experience: 18 months
- First-time traveler: No
Patient Types:
- Post-surgical, CVA, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Trauma, etc. Trauma Level III, MI, Pediatrics, Obstetric emergencies
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
Skills required
- Airway management and RSI knowledge, cardiac drips, codes, CVA and STEMI management
Support on the Unit:
- 2 ED techs from 1100-2300, LPN 1500-0300
- Charge nurse: Possible to carry patient load
- Phlebotomy: Yes
- IV/VAT Team: VAT team during the day, US guided IV trained RNs in unit
- Resource Nurse: Charge nurse
- RT: Yes
- Hospitalist Yes 24/7
- OT, PT, ST: Yes

- IV Pumps: Alaris
- Med Dispensing: Pyxis
