Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Director of Nursing for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, OR 10 years of relevant administrative/supervisory experience.
- Current New York State RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and TRUST certifications.
- Strong nursing leadership, staffing management, and clinical operations experience.
- Experience with quality improvement, regulatory compliance, root cause analysis, and performance improvement.
- Knowledge of NYSDOH and Joint Commission requirements.
- Strong communication, decision-making, budgeting, and staff development skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee nursing operations, staffing, recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
- Supervise Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and Administrative Nursing Coordinators.
- Monitor patient safety, nursing standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and evaluate performance outcomes.
- Support nursing budgets, staff education, professional development, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Preferred: Doctorate degree.
