Job Opportunity – ICU/Observation Unit Registered Nurse – Georgia
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week; 8 or 13-week contract options available. Holiday coverage is an expectation of this role.
Highlights:
- Fast-paced 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit supporting the Emergency Department with medical and trauma overflow beds
- Dynamic patient population with varying acuity levels ranging from lower to higher complexity, including mid-level holds
- Opportunity to work in a high-volume acute care environment with evolving clinical challenges
- May be required to float to other units based on clinical competency and departmental needs
- Contract flexibility with 8 or 13-week assignment options
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or Observation Unit experience in an acute care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Professional badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
