**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Observation!**
Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care in the Cardiac Observation Unit! Here’s your chance to make a significant impact in the lives of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Admit patients with precision and care.
- Prepare patients for Cath procedures by:
- Completing pre-procedure checklists.
- Initiating IV starts.
- Ensuring access preparation.
- Prep patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
- Recover patients post-Cath who received conscious sedation.
- Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures, including CV and TEE.
- Discharge patients by providing:
- Comprehensive teaching.
- Accurate documentation.
- Physical discharge assistance.
**Requirements:**
- Valid RN-AZ or compact state license.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in:
- PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center considered on a case-by-case basis.
**Shift Information:**
- Varying shifts:
- 3 x 12s during the day (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030).
- Call requirements include Saturday and Sunday on a rotational basis (approximately every 4 to 6 weeks).
