Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on ongoing patient assessments and identified needs
Initiate and manage patient assessments using the physician's medical diagnosis and functional health framework
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care for assigned patients in an acute renal unit setting
Document care in accordance with standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
Advocate for and support evidence-based practice standards and innovations in care delivery
Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of acute hemodialysis experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 or more years of acute hemodialysis experience
Experience with Fresenius 2008T Hemodialysis Machines and portable ROs
Proficiency with EPIC EHR
Telemetry experience
