Special Requirements:
Inpatients have dialysis in their rooms; so this unit is an outpatient area. Nurses will float to inpatient as well (typically 1:1 staffing ratio on inpatient) with bedside RN staff support readily accessible.
Outpatient is only Hemodialysis; inpatient does hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
