Job Summary:
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on dialysis in an acute care environment. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, with a schedule of 12-hour day shifts. The position requires on-call availability once per week and offers a 13-week assignment starting on November 3, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Days shift, 12-hour hours (11:30 AM 12:00 AM), minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, comprehensive knowledge of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in an acute setting, and experience with electronic medical records using Epic.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience, experience with Tablo dialysis machines, proficiency with Fresenius hemodialysis machines, and Baxter peritoneal dialysis systems.
- Responsibilities: Deliver dialysis treatments, monitor patient status, operate dialysis machines, document care, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, on-call from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM once weekly.
- Additional Information: The assignment is scheduled for approximately 13 weeks, with the start date on 11/03/2026 and end date on 01/31/2027.
