License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand.
Certifications: American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required.
Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
Description:
All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable.
Day shift options are 3x12s or 4x10s.
There is an on-call rotation and every other weekend requirement.
We provide In-Client hemodialysis services for patients who are stable enough to come to the unit, as well as at the bedside of ICU patients who need hemodialysis.
We connect and disconnect patients from their peritoneal dialysis treatment.
We do not provide CRRT therapy; that is managed by ICU nurses.
The main machines used for IHD are Fresenius machines.
Orientation to the machines will be provided.
We do not use Tablo machines for PIRRT.
All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission.
The facility does not accept any license hits.
A nicotine-free status is required for all travelers except for nurses and CSTs, who are exempt.
A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start date.
Candidates may extend with the client for a maximum of 18 months.
Candidates must complete a background check within a specified timeframe.
Candidates who do not complete required competencies will be considered non-compliant.
Annual modules and hands-on competencies are required for continuous contracts.
Modules will be recorded accordingly.
