Key Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis nursing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings based on facility need
• Perform CRRT and Peritoneal Dialysis as required by patient population
• Maintain inpatient patient ratios of 1:4 with a dialysis tech, or 1:1 in ICU units; outpatient ratio of 1:8
• Float between inpatient and outpatient dialysis units as needed
• Fulfill on-call obligations up to 3 times per two-week period, including every other working weekend, with a 1-hour callback response time
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous dialysis experience in an inpatient setting required
• Prior CRRT and Peritoneal Dialysis experience required
• Expected 72 hours biweekly; overtime may be available after 80 hours worked in the second week of the pay period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level II facility experience highly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
