Job Summary:
Dialysis Nurse (RN) Austin, TX. This contract position involves providing dialysis care in a specialized unit, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient treatment. The role includes night shifts, weekend rotations, and call duties, suitable for experienced RNs seeking a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend rotation and once-weekly call responsibilities starting at 1:00 PM.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, two or more years of experience, advanced dialysis experience including Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional skills in equipment such as Tablo, Prismax, Amia, and Meditech EMR.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit features a 6-bed multiroom setup at some locations and individual bedside dialysis at others. The team primarily includes skilled staff with significant tenure, utilizing advanced equipment and technology. Dress code requires navy scrubs; candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a professional demeanor.
