Travel RN – Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU
Specialty: Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (PCICU) RN
Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 36–48 hours/week
Unit Information
- 24-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU
- 12-bed Overflow Unit
- Age Range: Neonatal through young adult
- Occasional adult congenital heart disease (CHD) patients
Patient Population / Experience
Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience is required.
Patients include:
- Congenital heart disease/defects
- Post-surgical cardiac repair
- Heart failure
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Heart transplant
- VAD patients
- Stepdown/non-ICU cardiac patients
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios
- 1:1 – Critical ICU patients
- 1:2 – ICU status
- 1:3 – Stepdown/non-ICU overflow
