Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position located in an acute care healthcare setting. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); at least three years of recent RN experience working in the role; at least two years of recent RN experience specializing in Operating Room Open Heart.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac surgery nursing preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves development and implementation of age/culturally appropriate care plans, patient advocacy, interdisciplinary communication, delegation, and coordination with healthcare team members to optimize patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The position starts on 09/28/2026 and ends on 12/26/2026.
