Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Appleton, WI
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: February 6, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750–$2,890
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week, except during applicable facility closures and orientation week
• Nursing Shift: 8-hour variable day shifts, with start times generally at 6:30 a.m. or 7:30 a.m.
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Call Requirement: At least once per week; weekends and holidays as needed, with a 30-minute response time
• Float Expectations: May float within the facility and to other nearby departments based on skill set and operational needs

CVOR and Cath Lab RN Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
• At least 3 years of relevant procedural nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience, including at least one completed travel contract
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Associate degree or relevant nursing certificate required
• Demonstrated experience circulating and scrubbing for cath lab, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures; scrub experience is required
• Ability to meet applicable travel eligibility requirements, including the designated mileage restriction
• Flexibility to work variable day shifts, take call, and support weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled nursing care throughout cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
• Scrub and circulate for cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, CVOR, and structural heart procedures.
• Prepare patients, procedural rooms, equipment, and supplies before cases.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and promptly recognize and communicate changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia personnel, technologists, and the broader cardiovascular procedural care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care before, during, and after procedures.
• Participate in scheduled call coverage, including a 30-minute response expectation.
• Float to appropriate departments and locations within the health system as needed and within demonstrated competency.
