Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Memphis, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized surgical care in a facility that performs open heart procedures. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional to support the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical Technologist (ST) certification, completion of relevant surgical technology training or degree, Tennessee state licensure (if applicable), and at least 1 year of operating room experience in open heart procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart surgeries, familiarity with electronic fetal heart monitoring (EFM), and certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Float: Float rotation may not be required.
- Additional Information: This role involves assisting in complex surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting patient safety in a high-acuity environment. Candidates must be prepared to work in a team-oriented setting with adherence to clinical protocols.
