Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty position located in Chicago. This role involves circulating in cardiovascular operating room procedures, including endovascular and cardiac open heart surgeries. It requires a highly skilled registered nurse with extensive experience in cardiovascular operative environments.
Job Details
- Position Description: This is a contract position for an Operating Room (OR) Open Heart RN with at least three years of core cardiovascular operating room experience as a staff nurse. Endovascular and cardiac open heart experience is preferred.
- Required Qualifications: IL Licensure, CPR certification, minimum 3 years of core CVOR experience, at least 1 year of travel proficiency with Epic experience, and active credentials.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, beginning on 10/25/2026 with an expected end date of 12/20/2026.
- Additional Information: The position may require float to the main operating room, and staff must be available for on-call shifts (3-4 shifts per month) with a minimum of 2 hours callback within 30 minutes. Submission of updated resumes, skills checklists, references within the last year, and current medical credentials is required before the start date.
