CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in circulating complex cardiac cases as well as scrubbing for general OR cases.

Responsibilities

  • Circulate complex cardiac cases including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, and heart & lung transplants.
  • Scrub for general OR cases such as surgical oncology, colorectal, minimally invasive surgeries (Da Vinci), plastics, endocrine, and bariatric procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant CVOR experience.
  • Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for various complex surgical cases.
  • Current SC or Multi-state RN license in hand at the start of the contract.
  • Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (must be American Heart Association certified).
  • Radiation badge needed; provided by agency.

Schedule

This position requires three 12-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

On-call responsibilities include one weekend of call every four weeks, with potential holiday call obligations.

Hospital Highlights

  • Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility.
  • Magnet designated hospital with a total of 820 staffed beds.
  • Utilizes EPIC for electronic health records.
  • Parking permit required for the garage, with registration fees applicable.
