Job Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong CVOR, cath lab, or interventional cardiac care experience preferred
- Ability to support a wide range of cardiovascular procedures
- Comfort working in a fast-paced perioperative and procedural environment with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
- Flexibility to float to like units within scope as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Assist with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
- Support complex cardiovascular interventions and special procedures
- Prepare and maintain a safe, efficient surgical environment
- Monitor patients closely and respond to changes in condition during procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the procedural team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
- Follow safety, infection prevention, and procedural standards at all times
