Travel CVOR Registered Nurse needed in Canton, OH for a 13-week cardiovascular operating room assignment. Bring your perioperative nursing experience to a fast-paced surgical team supporting high-acuity cardiovascular procedures, with weekday day shifts, call coverage, and competitive weekly pay.

• Orientation: 16 hours
• Call Coverage: Required, with weekday and weekend call rotation based on staffing needs
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab, CVOR, cardiovascular nursing, or a closely related perioperative specialty; 12 months of permanent experience is preferred
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience circulating and documenting in a procedural, surgical, or operating room environment
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Must be comfortable with call requirements, holiday rotation, and facility compliance expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled RN support during cardiovascular surgery and other high-acuity procedural cases
• Circulate in the operating room and document accurately throughout procedures
• Support safe, efficient patient flow in a high-acuity perioperative environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Prepare equipment, maintain readiness, and help ensure smooth room turnover
• Follow all clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements
• Participate in call coverage, weekend rotation, and holiday scheduling as needed
